Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of laboratory IT environments integrated with instrumentation. You will oversee performance, vendor relations, capacity planning, and process improvement to ensure scalable, compliant operations.

• Excellent customer service and ability to interpret client requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under prescribed timeframes.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Document procedures, policies, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Escalates IT issues that are not resolved via regularly identified support channels.
• Manage ServiceNow requests and incidents to SLA.
• Acts as an interface between client, business and corporate IT teams.
• Conduct daily ticket scrums.
• Provide governance reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Conduct regular 1-1s with team members.
• Work with account and product managers to grow the service.
• Provide technical support of customer laboratory IT environments.
• Administer and ensure connectivity of Windows platforms.
