Job summary

Omnissa in the USA is seeking a Technical Solution Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in VDI, cloud platforms, and enterprise labs to own, maintain, and evolve Omnissa’s internal lab environments used for product validation, testing, enablement, and demos.

The role requires Day 2 operations, hardware and software stack management across Horizon, Workspace ONE, Azure, AWS, and networking, with a focus on stability, scalability, and close alignment to real customer environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in VDI, endpoint management, or enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon platforms.
• Experience managing vSphere / vCenter environments.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Practical experience with Workspace ONE (UEM, Access, Identity) or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with application packaging and delivery.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including load balancing and firewalls.
• Proven ability to perform system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to maintain runbooks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage internal lab environments across Horizon, Workspace ONE, and related components.
• Perform Day 2 operations: monitoring, patching, upgrades, issue resolution.
• Maintain and enhance Horizon environments across vSphere, AWS Workspaces Core, Azure, Nutanix.
• Administer and troubleshoot Workspace ONE components (UEM, Access, Identity).
• Oversee gold image lifecycle management and packaging/delivery across labs.
• Maintain identity and directory integrations (Active Directory, Entra ID).
• Administer cloud infrastructure via Azure Portal and other clouds.
• Support networking configurations, including load balancing and security components.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Field teams to validate features in the lab.
