Primary Need, Technical Challenge, and/or Problem You Will Be Responsible For

As a part of the Workspace ONE UEM team, you will be joining a group of passionate innovators responsible for building the next generation of software applications and expanding our service capabilities. Our goal is to enable a secure and productive workforce through our Unified Endpoint Management platform – managing billions of devices on multiple operating systems across industry verticals.

About the Role

This role is part of a team that will be based in the US and is responsible for building security features and capabilities in Workspace UEM platform through detection and remediation of vulnerabilities in a managed device. As a Software developer in Workspace One team at Omnissa, you will be a member of a high performing engineering team responsible for design, development, testing and delivery of services and large components. You will demonstrate a culture of ownership, respect for the opinions of others, and partner closely with other product and engineering teams. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a healthy sense of urgency, continually improving engineering processes and architecture. You will be expected to solve complex problems at an enterprise scale, to continue to expand your knowledge through sharing and listening to others, and to champion measurable, data driven outcomes.

Position Responsibilities
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET
  • You develop a solid understanding of the Workspace ONE platform architecture
  • You develop deep subject matter expertise in one or more areas of the platform (e.g., data ingest, storage, ML, workflows, APIs).
  • You establish a reputation of leadership within the team and demonstrate influence within your area of expertise.
  • You design software, write code, and obliterate obstacles for your team.
  • You support your peers with code reviews, design reviews, and technical insights.
  • When the opportunity arises, you drive improvements in DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes that enable the team to work more efficiently.
  • You support the team's on-call responsibilities and look for opportunities to make it more efficient.
  • You drive API excellence with well‑thought‑out opinions on API design (e.g., API versioning, REST vs GraphQL, performance, and usability).
Required Qualifications

We are looking for a technical innovator with a combined industry experience of at least 5 years.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in a modern programming language such as Java or .NET
  • 2+ years of experience writing enterprise level software for distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems and/or distributed systems (high‑availability, scalability/performance, security)
  • Experience in delivering end‑to‑end SaaS applications and highly scalable products
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
  • Hands‑on experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery methods and practices
  • Proven expertise in Agile development
