Job summary

Moderna seeks a senior informatics specialist to support delivery and administration of laboratory systems, including configuration, deployment, validation, and integration across Scitara DLX, LIMS, and related platforms.

You will author and execute validation documents, develop automated data transformations in JavaScript, and collaborate with lab users and IT to deploy validated solutions while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in science, technology, or related field
• Over 10 years of experience implementing, integrating, and maintaining laboratory informatics in GxP environments
• Hands-on experience with Scitara DLX, LIMS, Hamilton, SoftMax, LabX, Chromeleon CDS and system integrations with LIMS
• Strong coding in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and SQL for automation and data transformation
• Proven ability to design, validate, and deploy digital lab solutions enhancing automation and data integrity

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain LIMS, Scitara DLX, LabX, Hamilton, Chromeleon, and LES systems
• Design, build, and deploy Scitara DLX integration workflows for data exchange
• Develop Scitara pipeline configurations and transforms for data standardization and automated reporting
• Troubleshoot interface and workflow issues across Scitara, LIMS, and instrument control systems
• Authorize and execute system validation docs (URS, FRS, DS, IQ/OQ/PQ) per CSV and 21 CFR Part 11
• Develop and maintain JavaScript for automated data transformation across integration layers
• Implement error handling and data integrity checks for bidirectional communication
• Create reusable modular code components for future instrument onboarding
• Collaborate with lab users and IT to deploy validated Scitara DLX solutions
• Support change management, incident resolution, and performance optimization
• Maintain version control and technical docs to ensure quality and governance
• Provide training to end users on digital lab operations and best practices
• Participate in system upgrades, patch validation, and regression testing
