Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA is seeking a Lab Services Coordinator to support Check-In/Administrative, Imaging, and Patient Experience functions. You will manage complex appointment sets, upload outside imaging into Epic, and assist with real-time priorities while delivering outstanding customer service to patients and staff.

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong communication and teamwork.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Adaptability to a dynamic environment and multiple systems.

Mansioni

• Check-In/Administrative: verify complex appointment sets, link lab orders, protect PHI, and provide excellent customer service.
• Imaging Services: create orders, import outside images into Epic, and manage PACS workflows.
• Patient Experience: deliver outstanding service and deescalate issues.
• Communication: collaborate across leadership levels and teams, translating complex info for patients.
• Emergency Response: recognize emergencies and follow SOPs.
• Regulatory/Quality: comply with policies, Joint Commission readiness, HIPAA, and trainings.
• IT: maintain proficiency in Epic, RTLS, Outlook, and other systems during downtime.
