Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI, is hiring a full-time Lab Technician to coordinate workflow and monitor turnaround times to meet targets, while coaching others on operational improvements. You will perform routine and non-routine analyses, lead investigations to establish root causes and CAPAs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field and at least 4 years of laboratory experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations
