Job summary

Tetra Tech in Green Bay, WI offers an Internship for Lab & Field Tech (Remediation/Soils Lab) for Spring 2027. Under direct supervision, you will perform geotechnical laboratory and field tasks, conduct soil tests, prepare samples, and support analysis for a diverse range of clients.

This internship requires a High School diploma and 1-3 years in environmental services; responsibilities include equipment handling, data documentation, and collaboration with teams across projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in environmental services or related field.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude with field equipment.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical materials and write reports.
• Good overall communication skills and basic math.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests on soil samples and document results.
• Prepare soil samples for testing and label properly.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Assist in field sampling and site investigations as needed.
• Collect and compile field data and document for review.
• Provide other office duties as assigned.
