Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical/related education/training preferred
• 2+ years in facilities management, laboratory operations, or related field; biotech/pharma experience a plus
• Strong ability to stay focused in a regulated environment and multitask safely and compliantly
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, FDA)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to write technical reports and observations

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operation and maintenance of laboratory, office, warehouse, and support areas
• Perform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational deficiencies
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems
• Respond to work orders and facility service requests promptly
• Assist with troubleshooting facility-related issues and escalate to Facilities Manager as needed
• Maintain facility appearance and functionality through routine inspections and upkeep
• Assist with SOP implementation, documentation, audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments
• Coordinate vendor and contractor activities during repair work and document findings
