Job summary

Amazon Robotics seeks an Electrical Test Engineer to plan, design, execute, and document testing of electrical systems and components for next‑generation robotics hardware. You will create fixtures, test automation, and safety certification testing, driving automation and quality improvements.

You will work with hardware development, regulatory teams, and cross‑functional partners to develop test strategies, improve cycle time, and deliver reliable systems, including involvement with labs in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of working in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience with test plan development and building test bench infrastructure.
• Experience in component selection and understanding of component reliability.
• Experience in hardware lab equipment such as scopes, analyzers, and soldering tools.
• Experience designing test fixtures, automated controls, and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, and document testing of electrical systems and components.
• Develop test fixtures, test automation, and safety certification testing.
• Collaborate with hardware development, compliance, and other hardware test team members to improve quality.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and reports for new products.

4+ years of engineering experience

Experience developing test strategies

Experience with prototyping

Hardware test equipment familiarity
