Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Engineer to join our Operations team. This hands-on role supports laboratory and qualification testing for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers, involving planning, executing tests, evaluating results, troubleshooting, and customer interaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 2 years of lab or engineering experience, with strong data analysis, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering or laboratory testing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering knowledge in a practical laboratory or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of testing concepts, instrumentation, data acquisition, and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and compile test data from laboratory testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform routine and non-routine engineering and laboratory testing per requirements and standards.
• Collect, analyze, review, and document test data; identify trends and report results with engineering sign-off.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and systems; lead routine problem-solving activities.
• Support development, modification, and implementation of test methods, fixtures, and capabilities.
• Provide technical and customer support; participate in customer meetings and technical reviews.
• Manage multiple testing activities and priorities while maintaining schedules and lab commitments.
