St. Marys Medical Center is seeking an innovative and experienced healthcare leader to drive excellence in the Laboratory and achieve exceptional patient outcomes and operational success.

The role leads laboratory personnel in specimen collection and testing to provide timely, accurate results, budget oversight, and alignment with regulatory standards. The position emphasizes staff development, cross-functional collaboration with pathologists, and adherence to accreditation and licensing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in hospital lab with progressive leadership responsibilities
• Clinical Lab Supervisor license

Responsabilités

• Ensures staffing is appropriate for services and volume.
• Develops and manages budgets for personnel and operations on an ongoing basis.
• Promotes organization goals within own department and seeks out opportunities to influence other parts of the organization.
• Follows and supports principles of Target 100.
• Achieve annual specific departmental goals as applicable.
• Ensures ongoing compliance with SMMC competency assessment process and timely evaluations.
• Ensures that an effective orientation, training and staff development process is in place and conducted for the department.
• Staff communication is facilitated by conducting meetings and providing minutes to staff and administration.
• Commits to and participates in community or hospital functions.
• Achieve annual specific departmental goals as applicable.
• Complies, supports and/or participates with the NPSG and the Leapfrog Safety Leaps as applicable to the department.
