Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession incoming specimens into LIS.
• Verify specimen labeling and accompanying documentation.
• Enter patient data and test orders into LIS.
• Prepare specimens for testing and storage.
• Pipette and aliquot specimens as needed.
• Meet KPIs for speed and accuracy.
• Transport specimens to other departments.
• Stock and restock supplies for lab operations.
• Scan documentation into LIS.
• Dispose of specimens per retention policy.
• Communicate issues to other departments.
• Clean storage bins and carts.
• Other duties as assigned.
