Job summary

Bachelor of Science in a chemical/biological field or AS with MLT and 1 year of data entry is required; wet-lab experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, Biochemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, or a similar analytical science field; or Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Technician with 3 years of experience
• Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience required
• Preference for familiarity with pipetting, extractions, and use of 96-well plates
• Preference for experience handling bodily fluids (urine, oral fluid)

Responsibilities

• Accession specimens into LIS with data entry
• Prepare urine and oral fluid specimens for extraction per SOPs
• Maintain instruments and troubleshoot automated liquid handlers and SPE robots
• Accurately aliquot specimens into 96-well plates and test tubes
• Document steps per CLIA and CAP regulations and notify issues
• Cross-train in other roles such as EIA/ELISA as needed
• Meet KPIs for speed, accuracy, quantity, and quality
