Job summary

Natera is seeking a Manager of Data Analysis for Lab Production Support in the San Carlos area. You will lead an ExHS shift team, drive data analytics for production operations, and collaborate with product, lab operations, and clinical teams to deliver timely insights.

Role requires experience in regulated settings (CLIA/FDA), strong SQL/Python skills, and expertise in data workflows and production escalations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field (Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science).
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g., CLIA and/or FDA compliant settings).
• Minimum 5 years in data analysis and/or statistical modeling in data production, data engineering, data analytics, analytics production support roles.
• Minimum 2 years in a team management role.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic laboratory business processes.
• Proven track record in managing production escalations, data workflows, and team operations.
• Experience with healthcare data and clinical terminology is a plus.
• Functional understanding of next-gen sequencing workflows.

• Lead and mentor the specific ExHS shift team with accountability and collaboration.
• Measure, report, and continuously improve team operational effectiveness.
• Define and track team objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide career growth opportunities, feedback, and performance assessments.
• Encourage ICs to pitch ideas for process improvements and innovations.
• Represent ExHS teams in stakeholder meetings and manage expectations.
• Establish regular stakeholder reporting mechanisms and translate results into actionable insights.
• Escalate issues to other DSPE teams when needed.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements.
