The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of hospital laboratory experience, with Alabama licensure as required.

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates workflow in the laboratory and coordinates with sections to ensure service delivery is met.
• Regularly communicates with manager on day to day operations.
• Understands the role and function of all laboratory areas and fulfills tech in charge as required.
• Assumes bench responsibilities as needed and performs testing at least 60% of the time.
• Performs, documents and reports routine, special and point of care laboratory testing following policies to ensure high-quality results.
