Job summary

ASML US is seeking a Competence Engineer to support product development in its Wilton, CT lab. You will perform hands-on build, prototyping, and diagnostic testing of electrical and mechanical systems, while maintaining lab equipment, calibration, safety, and documentation to meet ISO and company standards.

The role requires interfacing with development labs, 5S lab practices, and coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Degree with 5 years relevant work experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering fields are preferred.
• Experience in lab environments and safety/compliance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and execute wiring diagrams and technical docs.
• Assemble, wire, and commission test stands and electrical cabinets.
• Operate instrumentation and collect data for analysis.
• Maintain lab safety, 5S, and calibration records.
• Coordinate lab space and equipment usage and scheduling.
