Job summary

ASML Holding seeks a Competence Engineer to own and operate D&E laboratories in Wilton, CT. You will oversee lab space, equipment, and safety, while supporting test stands, instrumentation, and data analysis for development activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating lab requests, training users, and maintaining a 5S, ISO-aligned lab environment, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Degree with 5 years relevant work experience.
• High School Degree and Technical Certification (i.e. Electronic Technician) with 3 years relevant work experience.
• Associates Degree with 3 years relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, electrical or mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more ASML D&E laboratories and manage lab space/equipment.
• Maintain calibration status and ensure safety training before lab access.
• Set up and operate test equipment, collect data, and analyze results.
• Coordinate lab requests, scheduling, and communication with customers.
• Promote 5S and Lean Principles to keep the lab organized and safe.
