Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE is seeking a Lab Chemist- II to perform analyses using GC, GCMS, ICP and other laboratory instruments. You will maintain equipment, manage waste and ensure a safe, compliant work environment while supporting continuous operations.

The role requires a BS in chemistry or related field, with strong data documentation and willingness to work day, 2nd, or night shifts. Competitive pay with overtime and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; BS in chemistry or related field required.
• Environmental focus; no pharma, bioMed background preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory setting; strong data recording and analysis.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends; safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze facility samples using GC, GCMS, ICP and other analytical instruments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
• Properly manage waste generated from analytical procedures.
• Uphold OSHA-compliant safety and work in a safe environment.

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Lab Chemist- II

$29+ hourly, paid weekly with OT, DOE. Day, 4/9-hour shifts per week- (Days, 2nd and Night shift).

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or science related field- required
• Environmental focus, No Pharma, BioMed please
• Prior experience in a laboratory setting
• Excellent communication, organization, and quantitative skills
• Proficiency with computer applications
• Ability to document, record, and analyze data and information
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when necessary
• An excellent commitment to health and safety
• Accountability; punctuality
• Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
• Background check, drug screen and physical- required
• Valid US DL
