Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE is seeking an Incineration Technician- Fluidized Bed. This entry-level, full-time role performs basic operations outdoors and in the facility, with a wage of $26.50 per hour, paid weekly, and rotating 4-12 hour Day/Night shifts. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in adverse environments are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • DOT Training.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
  • Climb on and off forklifts.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste.
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders.
  • Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force.
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical.
  • 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups to determine fitness.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing.
  • Operates a forklift when necessary, responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating.
  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements, able to use scanning application for dumping and pumping.
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes.
  • Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards.
  • Meets or exceeds production goals.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Understands Clean Compliance Standard.

Job description

We Build with Passion - Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking an Incineration Technician- Fluidized Bed. The division will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. This is an entry-level, full-time position offering Wage $26.50 an hour, paid weekly, along with career growth and advancement opportunities. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable individual to join our team in Kimball, NE. This is shift work rotating 4-12 hours shifts Days/Nights. Mechanical aptitude required. Ability to work in adverse environments (extreme cold/heat, wind).
