Job summary

Candidates should have at least 1 year of lab experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent teamwork and compliance with safety policies are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science or Chemistry (preferred).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2–3 years of laboratory experience (required).
• 1 year of histopathology, cytology or other laboratory experience.
• 1 year of PHI handling using LIS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing (racking, aliquoting, tube prep).
• Labels, handles, processes, transports, and stores specimens.
• Assists licensed personnel or supervisors in pre-analytic/post-analytic testing.
• Maintains records and inventories of reagents and supplies.
• Performs data entry and transcribes results for review by licensed personnel.
• Trains other Lab Associates and supports training programs.
