Work schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, in the Lab Support department. Candidates typically have a high school diploma with lab experience or a bachelor's in biological science or chemistry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Chemistry preferred.
• HS diploma with 2-3 years laboratory experience required.
• Experience with data entry and using laboratory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing, including racking, aliquoting, and tube preparation.
• Labels, handles, processes, transports, and stores specimens.
• Identifies sample problems and helps resolve them with guidance from licensed personnel.
• Prepares testing equipment and assists with preventive maintenance; reports equipment issues.
• Assists licensed personnel in pre-analytic and post-analytic activities (CA and non-CA).
• Maintains accurate records of reagents and materials; supports inventory management.
• Performs data entry and tallies workload data; generates reports as requested.
• Contributes to quality control procedures and prepares protocols/logs as needed.
