Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Associate II in San Juan Capistrano, CA, with Thursday–Monday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shifts. The role supports the laboratory with specimen prep, labeling, storage and data entry in LIS.

Qualifications

• 1 year histopathology, cytology or other laboratory experience.
• 1 year handling PHI and other patient information using LIS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing (racking, aliquoting, tube prep).
• Labels, handles, processes or prepares, transports and stores specimens.
• Identifies sample problems and assists in resolving appropriately.
• Prepares testing equipment and assists with preventive maintenance.
• Trains other Lab Associates and supports Training Programs.
