Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Seattle is seeking a Lab Associate II for a Tuesday–Saturday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will assist with general laboratory support and specimen handling, labeling, and transportation to testing platforms.

Responsibilities include data entry into LIS, maintenance of accurate records, inventory, and participation in quality control and process improvements. A Bachelor’s in Biological Science or Chemistry is preferred, with 1 year of lab experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of histopathology, cytology or other laboratory experience.
• 1 year of PHI/LIS handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize samples for testing, including racking, aliquoting and tube prep.
• Label, handle, process, transport and store specimens.
• Perform data entry and transfer results to LIS for review.
