Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform specimen collection, processing, and basic monitoring in a patient‑centered laboratory setting. You will work within CMS CLIA-compliant procedures to ensure accurate specimens and timely results.

A high school diploma or GED is required; no experience is necessary, though one year as a phlebotomist and EKG experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Work Experience
