Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to support specimen collection and processing within a clinical laboratory environment.

You will perform venipunctures and prepare blood specimens in alignment with CMS CLIA '88 and OSHA standards, contributing to accurate patient results. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; CPT certification is preferred, and prior phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Experience in performing EKGs preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
