Qualifications

• Venipuncture and specimen collection experience.
• Ability to verify patient identity and ensure sample integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review orders and perform venipuncture per protocol.
• Label specimens with two identifiers and ensure integrity.
• Support order entry and clerical workflows.
• Answer lab phones and provide customer service.
• Coordinate with nursing for drug-monitoring collections.
• Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies.
• Report to Director or Manager and participate in QA.
