Qualifications

• Must have technical skills related to laboratory procedures.
• Ability to communicate in English with patients and staff.
• Ability to learn computer applications and work with hospital systems.
• Experience with phlebotomy and blood collection preferred.

Responsibilities

• May perform point of care testing and related QC tasks.
• Perform blood specimen collection including phlebotomy.
• Process and transport patient specimens to testing departments.
• Train new staff and students as a preceptor.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
