Qualifikationen

• Phlebotomy training or lab assistant training completed.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience with diverse patients preferred.
• Strong judgment, phone skills and decision-making ability.
• Ability to follow universal precautions at all times.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Aufgaben

• Perform phlebotomy for adults and children.
• Accession and process samples in EMR and LIS.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of work area.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the main laboratory.
• Adhere to OSHA and CLIA regulations and logs.
• Assist technologists and train new staff as directed.
