Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Sanford, FL. The role involves blood collection and processing, EKGs, and data verification, with a schedule that includes weekdays and Saturdays.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with a preference for CLS or PSC environment familiarity. Includes comprehensive benefits and a 3-month contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
