Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Meets venipuncture requirements per state codes; phlebotomy experience preferred.
• California CPT1 (Phlebotomy Technician) or higher licensure required; Nevada coverage for Incline Village events.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient registration information in computer system.
• Enter and prioritize orders and process laboratory requests.
• Process and route specimens and pack for delivery to lab locations.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as trained.
• May perform EBT and register patients per training.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness; assist with data entry and document scanning.
• Perform routine quality checks and comply with policies.
