Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Draw blood from finger, heel, or vein using aseptic technique.
• Ensure correct specimen type and volume.
• Document requests and released results accurately.
• Communicate lab results to physicians as applicable.
• Handle specimen routing, processing, and storage.
• Order, distribute and stock supplies as needed.
• Train and report on the work performance of other Laboratory Assistants.
