Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform sample processing, exempt screening, and monitor tests in accordance with CMS CLIA standards. You will perform venipunctures, collect and prepare blood specimens, and support technical staff with non-clinical tasks.

Education required is a GED, with no experience required and 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred. EKG experience and healthcare setting exposure are also preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• GED required.
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• EKG experience preferred.
• Healthcare or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification (CPT) preferred.
