Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist for both full-time and part-time roles on all shifts. The role includes processing samples and performing venipunctures in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88) and Piedmont policies, with support to the technical team.

Education requires a high school diploma or GED. No experience is required, though 1 year as a phlebotomist and EKG experience are preferred; certification is optional but preferred. Working in a healthcare setting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year as phlebotomist preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred; healthcare/lab setting experience preferred.

• Perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests.

Work Experience

• Experience in performing EKGs Preferred
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
