Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and Piedmont policies. Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens as directed.

Provides assistance to technical staff in non-clinical tasks. The role supports both full-time and part-time schedules on all shifts, reflecting Piedmont's patient-centered care model.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Work Experience: No experience required.
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Experience in performing EKGs preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Licenses: CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred (ASCP/ASPT/NCA or equivalent).
