Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. This role performs sample processing, venipunctures, and prepares blood specimens in accordance with CLIA and Piedmont procedures, supporting accurate testing and patient care.

Full-time and part-time schedules are available on all shifts. No experience required; 1 year as a phlebotomist, EKG experience, and CPT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• EKG experience preferred.
• Healthcare or clinical lab setting experience preferred.
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens in line with Piedmont procedures; assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
