Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required and provide documentation.
• Experience in phlebotomy is required.
• After three (3) months of employment at the Clinic the employee should be fully capable of performing as a lab assistant.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood, process specimens, order entry in lab computer, logging results.
• Perform glucose tolerances, EKGs and limited waived laboratory testing.
• Collect specimens such as blood, urine, nasal wash, throat with proper instruction.
• Set up and perform rapid tests and log quality control as appropriate.
• Provide excellent patient care and handle reception duties as needed.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed.
• Comply with incident reporting and training requirements.
• Support laboratory operations with accuracy and efficiency.
