Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform sample processing, exempt screening and monitoring tests in line with CMS CLIA and OSHA standards. The role includes drawing blood, preparing specimens, and supporting non-clinical tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate may have 1 year of phlebotomy experience and may have experience with EKGs; there is no strict experience requirement. GED or high school diploma is required. Employment is on-site within a healthcare setting.

Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
