Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a phlebotomy technician to support sample processing, venipunctures, and non-clinical tasks in a clinical laboratory setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and may have 1 year of phlebotomy experience; EKG experience and healthcare exposure are preferred.

Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications

• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
