Job summary

CentraCare Health in Cold Spring, MN is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. The role supports multiple clinics across Central Minnesota, primarily Cold Spring and Clearwater, with travel to St. Joseph, Becker, and Big Lake.

You will collect blood samples, foster patient trust, and assist with low complexity testing and culture setup. Starting pay and benefits reflect a comprehensive healthcare compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer graduate from or pursuing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited lab or medical-related program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position primarily will work at the Cold Spring and Clearwater Clinics but will include travel to St. Joeseph, Becker, and Big Lake Clinics.

What you'll do:

• Collect blood samples from the patient
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
• Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up

Schedule:

• Full-time | 72-80 hours every two weeks
• Day Shift | Monday - Friday | Shifts 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm
• No weekends or holidays.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.47 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range:$19.53 - $29.28 per hour
