CentraCare Health seeks a Lab Assistant to support our Becker and Big Clinics, with travel to St. Joseph, Cold Spring, and Clearwater clinics as needed. You will collect blood samples, foster trust with patients, and perform low-complexity testing and culture setup in a supportive lab setting.

A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy training is preferred. Basic medical terminology knowledge and computer skills are essential for daily tasks in this role.

Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position primarily will work at Becker and Big Clinics but will include travel to the St. Joeseph, Cold Spring, and Clearwater Clinics.

What you’ll do:

• Collect blood samples from the patient
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
• Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up

Schedule:

• Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks
• Day Shift | Monday - Friday | Shifts 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm
• No weekends or holidays.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $20.47 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $19.53 - $29.28 per hour
