Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide general laboratory services.
• Collect STAT, timed and routine venous and capillary blood specimens from inpatients, outpatients and off-site facilities.
• Enter test orders and verify patient information in the LIS.
• Process specimens, including receiving, centrifuging and preparing for testing or referral.
• Transport specimens to appropriate testing areas or reference laboratories.
• Maintain adequate collection/testing supplies and ensure safety and cleanliness.
