Indiana University Health in Avon, IN is seeking a Part-time Lab Assistant I for night shifts (10:30 PM–7:00 AM, 1–2 days/week, minimum 16 hours/month). The role includes specimen collection, order entry, blood component preparation, and pre-analytic processing, with potential patient/ specimen registration duties.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training (preferred), and basic computer and communication skills.

In addition to IU Health, laboratory testing services are provided to hospitals and physicians across the country.
The Lab Assistant I provides general laboratory services including specimen collection, order entry, blood component preparation, pre-analytic processing of specimens as well as related clerical tasks. The incumbent may be responsible for patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens.
