Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures, finger sticks, and heel sticks according to patient age.
• Accepts specimens and requisitions and manages add-ons.
• Identifies patients and specimens using two identifiers and labels containers.
• Registers and logs specimens in LIS and tracks documentation.
• Performs specimen processing and proper handling per lab protocols.
• Supports workflow, quality, and safety standards in the lab.
• Operates laboratory information systems to support data entry.
• Assists in restocking supplies and participating in department projects.
