Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Lab Technician within the Adhesive Technologies unit in California. You will operate and maintain lab equipment, develop standardized methods, and prepare customer-facing reports for sales and project teams.

Ideal candidates have a science background, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to read and follow procedures. This non-exempt role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the sciences.
• 1-3 years of lab experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

• Runs and upkeeps laboratory equipment, supports standardization and administration of test methods.
• Writes customer facing reports for the field Sales/TCS teams, KAMs, Marketing, PD and Innovations or project team.
• Communicates directly with field Sales/TCS teams, KAMs or project team.
• Performs Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action on product complaints.
• Completes Customer Technical Requests and prepares 'customer ready' reports.
• Ensures equipment calibration and safety compliance.
• Fabricates adhesive test specimens and analyzes data.
• Documents lab activities in CAPRIS/ACE and AE database.
• Trains Sales/Marketing and AE staff on products.
• Performs customer lab demonstrations and trainings.
