Job summary

Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies team seeks an assay-focused lab technician to perform analytical and mechanical testing on adhesives, composites, and metals. You will troubleshoot tests, interpret data, and support ongoing standardization of methods.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in a STEM field (Bachelor’s preferred) and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with strong collaboration skills and proficiency in MS Office. On-site operations in California include comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in a STEM field; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, academic research, lab work).
• Ability to follow written procedures and test methods precisely.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn lab systems quickly.
• Experience with mechanical and analytical testing equipment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical and mechanical testing of adhesive, composite and metallic materials.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and anomalies.
• Evaluate testing data and guide next steps/tests.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and test methods.
• Support customer audits and internal/external requests.
