INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA, LLC is seeking a Lab Analyst for the Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, TX. The role focuses on using standard analytical methods to test flakes and pellets, ensuring quality specifications and supporting process control.

The successful candidate will work 12-hour shifts, with overtime as required and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (or a 2-year Chemistry/Process Technology associate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years lab or operations experience in a chemical plant, refinery, or gas processing facility, or equivalent associate degree.
• 12-hour shift work with day/night rotations and some overtime.
• Proficiency with SAP, Word, Excel; PowerPoint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing to determine product quality as per specifications.
• Support unit production or process control testing per inline schedules.
• Enter data into LIMS and maintain legible test records.
• Analyze monitor samples and maintain equipment logs.
• Maintain lab housekeeping and comply with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot testing equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
