Job summary

INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, TX is seeking a Lab Analyst to perform routine testing of polymer samples using standard analytical methods and to support process control. This 12-hour shift role requires attention to safety, data entry into LIMS, SPC compliance, and collaboration with a laboratory team to maintain quality and resolve issues.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus 2 years of lab or process technology experience or an associate degree,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years lab or operations experience in chemical plant, refinery, or gas processing plant OR 2-year Associate Degree in Chemical/Process Technology.
• Shift work on 12-hour rotates; some overtime.
• Experience with SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred.
• PPE use and OSHA safety procedures knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety/PPE rules and promote safety initiatives.
• Input data into the LIMS system and record results clearly.
• Analyze monitor samples and maintain equipment records.
• Enter data and maintain housekeeping standards in the lab.
• Troubleshoot and report abnormalities in test equipment.
• Schedule work to meet priorities and support QC goals.
• Participate in quality excellence teams to improve processes.
• Work collaboratively as part of the laboratory team.
