Job summary

INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, TX seeks a Lab Technician to provide prompt and accurate testing for quality specifications and process control. You will assist in analysis, maintenance of equipment, and support for catalyst development projects, while adhering to safety principles.

Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent lab experience and 0–3 years in a chemical plant setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent lab experience preferred.
• 0–3 years lab or operations experience in a chemical environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lab safety and PPE requirements.
• Experience with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and analysis using standard analytical methods.
• Enter and review results in the LIMS system; report deviations to supervisor.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and instrument maintenance per procedures.
• Prepare production samples for testing, including early shift starts (~5am) when required.
• Support training in other analytical areas and assist team with workload.
