Job summary

The Analytical chemist will join the Battleground Site laboratory team at INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA in La Porte, TX. The role focuses on ICP-OES instrumentation to support catalyst development, manufacturing, ensure accurate results, and drive investigations.

Responsibilities include technical troubleshooting, lab safety leadership, maintenance of equipment, and cross-functional collaboration to solve problems in polymer development and production operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 3+ years as an analytical chemist.
• Experience with ICP-OES, chromatography, FTIR or XRD spectroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Analytical team at Battleground Site.
• Lead safety programs and maintain lab conditions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across analytical methods.
• Maintain equipment and manage lab safety documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate across teams on polymer development and manufacturing investigations.
