We are currently looking to immediately fill a Laboratory Analyst (Inorganics - 2nd Shift) position. The selected candidate will be trained by our knowledgeable laboratory staff to perform essential analyses that provide high-quality, defensible data for our clients. A key responsibility is to generate analytical data to help ensure client compliance with environmental regulations.

This position works the second shift, Monday - Friday, from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Receive training on inorganic analysis methods and perform these analyses within deadlines
• Ensure data quality meets method requirements
• Analyze and input data into the LIMS system for reporting
• Support laboratory investigations and document updates/revisions
• Understand regulatory programs
• Assist with maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Maintain knowledge of testing protocols and instrumentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field; or Associate’s Degree; or equivalent experience
• Relevant lab experience with techniques like pH, titration, FIA, SFA, IC, spec, etc. (preferred)
• Availability for second shift, Monday - Friday, with support for monthly Sunday and holiday rotations

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds periodically
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 10 pounds constantly
• Engage in balancing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, climbing, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
• Visual acuity for inspecting small defects and parts
• Potential exposure to odors, gases, and poor ventilation
